# Getting Started

FIAT DAO deployed the FIAT I protocol on Ethereum mainnet in April of 2022. FIAT I is slated for obsolence in May of 2023. The documentation featured here provides the reader with an overview of the FIAT I protocol and the relevant information regarding its deployment.
